Youth Development Academy

The Gateway Rush Youth Development Academy program (YDA) caters to boys and girls with birth years 2019-2016 The YDA program focuses on early youth soccer development. It introduces the game to these young players in a fun and dynamic fashion through the use of age-appropriate skill activities and small-sided games, where "learning" the game is just as important and exciting as "playing" the game.

Gateway Rush’s YDA program is specifically designed for young athletes ages 5-9 years old. Our club's Directors have developed a curriculum and training method that is in line with the US Soccer Federation player development initiatives. Each YDA season lasts 5 weeks long. .

All players are expected to bring a soccer ball, shin guards, and their favorite drink to all sessions.
