Instead of hosting traditional “ID” sessions this Spring, Gateway Rush will have an open evaluation process.

New players that are interested in playing for Gateway Rush in the 2024/25 season should submit the Interested Player form linked below.  Our staff will then reach out directly to provide instructions for that player to attend a training session with one of our existing teams.  

This open evaluation process will allow families more flexibility to be able to attend sessions and our staff the ability to see the player perform in a normal training environment.

We will still host club tryouts starting in mid-May.  All players, returning and new, will be required to register for the tryout sessions.  Tryout dates and registration information will be released soon.

Tryout dates will be posted no later than April 5th.  The Head Coach will select his/her team with the assistance of the club staff of Gateway Rush. Tryouts for all players, new and returning, will take place during late May and early June as normal.  We will not be hosting traditional ID sessions, instead we have an open evaluation system where interested players can come to training session with one of our teams throughout the spring season by registering below.

All players interested in playing for Gateway Rush in 2024/25 season should plan to attend both tryout sessions.  If you are unable to attend one of the sessions, please let us know as soon as possible.  

Like an European system, we allow players to guest play with different teams in the club if they are able. Players and coaches don't exclusively belong to any particular team. Instead they are part of the club and will get additional opportunities to develop based on their playing ability and maturity. We see all our players as part of the club and view ourselves as one big family, so we do things very different here while still trying to provide the same objective as any top club in the country: Help players go to the next level ( College or Professional) while enjoying their sport and growing as a complete and responsible young adult.  Here at Gateway Rush you don't just have your team and coach! You have a lot of teams and coaches plus one big Rush Nation that gives you opportunity to be part of other out the state teams as well. Simply an unique experience to experiment!

Head Coaches must communicate to their respective DOC or TD to approve any player movement within the club. This process will always be done with the player in mind first and what is best for their development.
