Gateway Rush Soccer Tournament FAQ

WEATHER:

If play must be stopped due to adverse weather, a horn will blast. A long (3 second) blast means "Clear the Fields". Play will be discontinued for the required time it takes for the weather to clear. Families/players must leave the fields and go to their car. Three short (1 second) blasts means "All Clear-Return to Fields". At that time you will leave your car and return to the fields so that play can be continued. Gateway Rush website, Facebook and twitter feed will also provide valuable weather information if needed during the tournament.

PLAYER PASSES:

All player passes must be uploaded online to be considered checked in. All teams are required to have physical copies of player cards to be checked in by the field marshal at every game. All players must be under the same entity such as US Club or US Youth. The team may not be crossed over between the two entities. These passes must contain a picture and be fully laminated. Each player must have a current State Player Pass (or other approved organization of which the team is a member) with a player picture. Any team caught using players not properly carded during a game, will result in an automatic forfeit. Those players will be ineligible to play for the remainder of the event.

TRAINERS and FIELD MARSHALS:

We will have certified Sports Trainers at the fields. These trainers can perform first aid as well as diagnose sports-related injuries. Our Field Marshalls will be wearing lime green vests, and will be stationed in a general area between fields. They will have a radio and will call the trainers should you need one. Coaches please contact your field marshal if medical assistance is required.

SCHEDULES AND SCORES

Schedules are posted on gotsport and linked on our web site.  Scores will be updated regularly.  Sunday's semis and consolation status can also be ascertained by checking the website. No individual notification will be made regarding playoff & consolation times and fields. It is the coach/manager's responsibility to check the website to ascertain standings.   The field Marshall is responsible for bringing the signed game card to the Tournament HQ tent.
